Samuel proudly helped organize the National Cricket League of USA, an event that brought together some of the greatest names in cricket. Legends including Sachin Tendulkar, Chris Gayle, Brian Lara, Curtly Ambrose, Venkatesh Prasad, Rahul Sharma, Sheldon Jackson, and Sohalil Tanveer participated in this landmark event — a testament to Samuel's ability to bring together world-class talent for the community.
As the Language & Education Committee Chairman of FOMAA, Samuel has built meaningful relationships with some of India's most distinguished leaders. The committee's logo was presented to the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, Sree VD Satheeshan, and its inauguration was performed by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Dr. Jayakumar IAS, Murugan Kattakada, and Dr. George Onakoor.
An active force in Malayalam cinema and media, Samuel has served as a movie producer and creator of multiple music albums and short films. His work promotes Malayalee culture on the global stage, bridging the creative arts with community building and cultural preservation.
For 25 years, Samuel has been a pillar of charitable giving — providing school supplies to multiple schools and TVs during COVID, delivering financial aid for the needy in Kerala, and personally funding the construction of two homes. He has also contributed to the Kidney Federation of India and raised funds through the 'Vaishakasandhya' cultural event to build a Cancer Ward at the Regional Cancer Center, Kerala.
A quarter century of service is just the beginning. Samuel Mathai's legacy is built on a simple belief: "Leadership is not an ornament — it is trustworthiness proven by action." With unwavering commitment to the Malayalee American community, he continues to lead, inspire, and build a future rooted in service, integrity, and bold vision.
